How To Get To/From Houston By Train

Houston used to be the mecca of rail travel back in its hey day. Like many cities back then, it too, had a Union Station in all its grandeur.

The home of the Houston Astros, Minute Maid Park, now sits anchored by the old Union Station. It’s sadly only accessible during games though and special events.

Today, the city is served by Amtrak in a really tiny station, near downtown.
